Job Description:

Alliance Enterprises, Inc. is looking for a Director for our Product Development Department.  You will oversee cross-functional work teams who specialize in the development and implementation of software, supporting tools, and resources.  As a member of the Executive Team, you will work closely with managers to develop corporate strategic plans, develop scorecards and contribute to goals and objectives. Directors take an active role in drafting, implementing, and executing policies and procedures to facilitate a quality employee and customer experience.

Required Skills and Expertise:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience
  • 2+ years of experience with Alliance Enterprises, Inc.
  • 5+ years of experience managing direct reports, including performance reviews, mentoring, and coaching staff with career development opportunities
  • Thorough understanding of quality control standards and methodologies
  • Demonstrated experience developing and managing with performance metrics
  • Experience managing remote team members and facilitating remote work sessions
  • Excellent communication skills, group presentation skills and attention to detail
  • Willingness to learn and take on new challenges; self-directed and highly motivated

 

Highly Desired Skills and Expertise:

  • Experience managing diverse teams of employees
  • Demonstrated experience managing customer relationships
  • Understanding of contractual requirements and demonstrated ability navigating internal team and customer expectations

 

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in Release Management\Planning for software development and Quarterly Planning for service deliverable commitments, including resource planning; identify and mitigate risks
  • Collaborate with other managers and executive leadership to develop strategic plans
  • Develop and manage the team’s quarterly objective scorecard
  • Conduct day-to-day supervision, performance reviews, coaching and mentoring of employees and managers
  • Responsible for ensuring contractual obligations are met
  • Evaluates production operations from a strategic level to ensure that products meet quality, integrity, functionality, and other specifications and requirements
  • Collaborates with management and senior staff across production departments and roles to draft acceptable quality standards
  • Develops and implements quality standard testing and evaluation processes
  • Facilitates communication among production divisions and management
  • Drafts, implements, and executes policies and procedures to facilitate a quality customer service experience
  • Establishes performance metrics for product development and accessibility
  • Develops and implements methods to record, assess, and analyze customer feedback
  • Identifies and recommends updates and expansions to technology, equipment, and policies that may improve customer service and retention
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
  • Evaluate, analyze, research, and implement measures to ensure data security

 

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Recruit, interview and make hiring recommendations for all team positions
  • Oversees the daily workflow of the department
  • Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations
  • Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy
