Chris M. Pieper has a 25-year track record of transforming technology startups into high-growth companies. He currently serves as CEO of Alliance Enterprises, an Inc. 5000 software company headquartered in Dupont, Washington.
As chief executive at Alliance since 2008, Chris has expanded the company’s software offerings into more industries and grew revenue at an annual rate of 80% between 2012 and 2015. In 2016, Microsoft recognized Alliance as a Rising Star partner of the year for growing its cloud services business 1,000%. Also in 2016, the company successfully launched its goal achievement software, MyObjectives, to international markets.
Prior to joining Alliance, Chris founded and led software company, ABC Technologies, which he grew over 12 years into an Inc. 500 firm with 225 employees and office in 15 countries, customers in 73 countries and $32 million in annual sales. The Portland Business Journal named his company to its list of 100 fastest-growing Oregon companies for five consecutive years. In 1997, ABC was named Oregon’s Technology Company of the Year.
In 2002, Chris sold ABC Technologies to SAS, a Fortune Global 500 company with over $1 billion in annual revenue, for $30 million. Chris stayed on board with SAS to help manage the transition of his company to the business analytics giant.
Between leading ABC Technologies and Alliance, Chris helmed two other companies: FormRouter Inc. where he was CEO and Chairman for nearly five years and grew the technology firm 4,000%; and C-Speak Partners, a management consulting firm he started and operated.
Chris holds an Executive MBA from University of Oregon and has a BS, Technology, from the University of Houston. His interests outside work include fishing, cycling and entrepreneur-ing.
