Lacey, WA, October 26, 2021 – Alliance Enterprises, Inc. (Alliance) announces the appointment of Karen Dunn as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO). In her six-year career with Alliance, Ms. Dunn has served in many roles, most recently as the Chief Operations Officer, a vital role for the software company.

Lisa Gifford, Chairman of the Board of Directors, said of the appointment, “We have been working together to establish team formations in order to support collaboration and alignment. With so much accomplished this past year, the Board is realigning Karen’s job title to line up with her responsibilities and accountabilities more closely.”

“We are thrilled to have her as our chief executive,” said Rick Gifford, Chief Technology Officer. “Karen will continue to provide direction for Alliance’s overall plans and policies to prepare Alliance for a long and bright future.”

Ms. Dunn came to Alliance in 2015 with over ten years of state vocational rehabilitation experience in a variety of roles, most recently as the Operations Director at the Texas Department of Assistive and Rehabilitative Services. She holds a Bachelor of Science from University of Oklahoma and is knowledgeable of federal laws governing vocational rehabilitation. In her tenure with Alliance, Ms. Dunn has led the training team, directed customer functions, and developed relationships with the VR community. She succeeds Lisa Gifford, who previously served as Alliance’s interim CEO.
