Alliance Enterprises is pleased to announce that the State of Hawaii’s Department of Human Services, Division of Vocational Rehabilitation(DVR) is the 31st agency to transition to a statewide records management system including case and financial management applications. The agency launched the Aware VR statewide system in July of 2014 and have successfully completed their statewide implementation.
Albert Perez, Division Administrator, stated, “A big mahalo to the Alliance Team for working with the staff of Hawaii VR as we begin the process of inventing our future and better servicing our participants through Aware. Kick off to go-live in just 10 months; WOW!”
The selection of the Aware VR system will support the State to assist Hawaiians with disabilities to find meaningful employment through timely and individualized vocational rehabilitation services. The system meets all federal and state requirements, provides extensive reporting, and creates a platform for expansion into e-signatures, vendor portals, and scorecards.
“We are so proud of everyone within our division and the Department of Human Services who helped us implement the Aware solution in less than one year! We can now partner with the other 31 State VR programs nationwide who use the Aware solution,” affirmed Susan Foard, VR Assistant Administrator.
