Kelly Boston joins Alliance from Washington’s DSHS Division of Vocational Rehabilitation, bringing 20 plus years of industry experience.

Lacey, WA (March 25, 2010) – Alliance Enterprises Inc., the leading provider of case management software for vocational rehabilitation agencies, announced the hire of industry veteran Kelly Boston as the company’s VR Product Manager.  In this newly-created position, Ms. Boston will be responsible for articulating customer needs, planning product launches, analyzing potential product enhancements, and updating product plans for the AWARE VR solution.  She will report to Alliance’s Executive Vice President of Business Development and Marketing, Lisa Gifford.

Ms. Boston was most recently the Planning and Program Evaluation Administrator for Washington State’s DSHS Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR).  As a member of the Senior Leadership Team for seven years, she was responsible for administering and directing agency budget, human resources, business and IT operations, and client services.  Additionally, Ms. Boston served as lead policy advisor on federal and state laws pertaining to VR, developed DVR’s State Plan, and administered DVR’s customer relations and due process.

“Kelly brings incredibly rich subject matter expertise and a thorough understanding of the issues facing today’s VR counselor,” explains Gifford.  “In addition to working with Alliance’s product marketing and development teams, Kelly will be our primary point of contact with the 23 state agencies currently using the AWARE VR software.”

Ms. Boston received her Master’s degree in Public Administration from The Evergreen State College.  She has represented Washington DVR on the State Rehabilitation Council and has served as Liaison to the State Developmental Disabilities Council.

Activity-based solution expected to provide cost accountability and transparency best practice services for VR agencies.

Lacey, WA (January 6, 2010) – Alliance Enterprises announces a new business partnership and new options for state agencies who provide vocational rehabilitation services.  Alliance has acquired distribution rights for MyABCM, one of the world’s premier activity-based costing software solutions.  MyABCM is an international software supplier with more than 15 years of experience and almost 600 customers across all industries (manufacturing, services and public sector).

With the nation’s focus on jobs creation, Alliance’s state vocational rehabilitation customers are looking for established best practices to meet requirements for cost accountability and transparency as mandated by ARRA and the use of stimulus funds.  Activity-based costing is internationally recognized as a best practice by organizations looking to improve process efficiency and lower costs.  Alliance recently completed integration of the MyABCM solution with the company’s AWARE VR Case Management software.  Alliance is currently working with leading management consultants to offer a total solution targeting Vendor Performance Management and Profitability Analysis.
